Character Biography
Vortigern was born in the Polis Prima, the First City, on Kisogo IX. Born into a family of scholars, he was enrolled, against his will, at the School of Applied Knowledge in Kisogo. Ever the rabble-rouser, he was involved in an unfortunate prank that cost the lives of three recruits. He recieved a dishonorable discharge, soiling his family name. Unable to return to Kisogo, he stole a ship, and set out to find his way in the galaxy.
Finding himself to be a natural in the cockpit, he turned to a life of freelancing and small time pirate hunting. Once, in a dark corner of the Lonetrek Region, he was ambushed by Guristas, bent on revenge. His ship in flames, he was about to eject when a scoundrel named Malcom Typhos warped in. They fought the Guristas off together and have remained life long friends.
