Kelleris was a highly respected researcher with Roden Shipyards in the nanomachine field as well as an associate professor of combat tactics at the Federal Navy Academy until an unfortunate event involving a Senator's daughter and some ill-advised photographs caused him to make a hasty exit from the Federation and simultaneously launched his career as a capsuleer. After a late-night visit from some large churlish men in dark suits he was installed into a capsule and was never seen planetside on Gallente Prime again. He loaded up his Thorax with as much Quafe and drones as he could and sped off into the cosmos with his trusty pet fedo, "Wild Bill."
