Character Biography
I'm looking for fights, not kills.
Wanna duel?
I won't spam you if you say no (so long as I remember your name).
I won't send duel invites if the match is grossly uneven, based on ship types.
I'll probably accept duel invites despite being at a disadvantage, depends on how I feel.
I don't play station games, but turnabout is fair play.
I probably won't accept a duel if you are in a known grief corp.
If you took the duel by accident, dock up (before shooting at me) and say so in local, I'll leave you alone.
If you never got a duel invite from me, it's probably because you have auto-reject on.
Here is some basic information about duels/aggression:
1. Accepting a duel is not an act of aggression, you can still dock until you attack the other person.
2. If someone intereferes with a duel, such as remote repairs, the person who interefered will become suspect, and everyone can shoot them.
3. Any act of aggression on anyone will give you a limited engagement timer, same as a duel.
Too avoid being griefed, accept duels on the station. Don't warp somewhere unless you know the person to be legit. Once you accept the duel, see if the other person docks immediately. If they do dock, they are playing station games, warp off or dock.
I normally wait for the other person to aggress first to ensure they aren't playing station games. If they have a friend interfere, I'll just deaggro and dock. As a sidenote, people like to watch duels, so they will often lock you up, just to see who is winning. Don't confuse someone watching for someone interfering.
Let's make dueling a non-toxic form of skill based pvp. Where you can test your might against others without being blobbed. Let's get less people to auto-reject, and more to fight.
