An actual "son of a gun", Meigs was born on the deck of old Amarrian tramp freighter, the "Second Vespers", in the tight space between two 75mm point defense batteries during the Amarrian's assistance with the evacuation of Helmer's Colony.
The good will that the Amarrian's, especially the Kador family, received for lending aid to the Caldari Colony was vast, thanks to the masterful maniplation of the region's Scope journalist by the Kador family, though the actually number of Caldari that were saved was startlingly small. And of those saved, what became of them no one ever really bothered to ask.....
