The Day was warm and humid, like most days, but Today was the day we would be set free. There was going to be little choice, after this, it was either Life or Death.
"Challis fetch me a glass of water" interupted my thoughts, as the son of the overseer stood before me. he had liked my Facial tatoos and that is why I served in thier house. A pity it is not the overseer himself.
I turned away from one last look, the son was crucified against the wall, and I had carved my tattoos in his chest for his father to see. He was still alive if you could call that passage of time between life and death alive.
I should feel ashamed, I should feel contrite, but what i feel the most is satisfaction of a job well done.
