I will miss you man...
Kill: Sgt Matthew (Azariel)

Growing up on the arid world of Hek V, Pevira Atavuli always dreamed of taking to the stars. With his knack for math, he found a spot at the Pator Tech School that lead to a career with Republic Fleet Ordnance as a metallurgical engineer working on increased yields from Neo Mercurite and Plasmonic Metamaterials reactions.

Due to the stability of a position under RFO Engineering, Pevira saw little reason to leave for the Federation during the Matari exodus of YC108, but instead moved to Boundless Creation the following year to be on an team working on refinements to Electrolytic Capacitor Units to increase excess energy dissipation.

This technology proved crucial in the first-generation adaptation of the Tempest-class battleship into the Vargur-class Marauder, publicly unveiled on the eve of YC110. Small improvements continued over the next few years, before Lai Dai Corporation unveiled their second generation Golem-class Marauder and its associated 'Bastion' refit. The Vargur was updated to use this new tech, with it making its way to the capsuleer market by early November.

This new adaption required new ways to dissipate power beyond what the refined Electrolytic Capacitor Units could provide. The solution came as the "Bastion-gates," seen on all marauders moving into position upon activation, allowing the venting of raw power out into space.

To monitor this new system, Boundless Creation deployed teams of its engineers onto the first refitted vessels to see trial use to ensure their smooth operation, and Pevira was promoted to head one of these teams. The details are classified, but he remarks that nothing of note occurred. However, this was his first real long-time space deployment, and it stuck with him.

In YC119, he moved from industry into academics, returning to his alma mater for almost 3 years as an instructor before entering into the capsuleer program at the start of YC 122, with plans to one day helm his own Vargur foremost in his mind.
