Character Biography
Your ship's computer picks up a faint hail. It's reading is far too weak to be a hologram message, but not so weak as to be a signal from a source that transmits what a written only message may patch through as. Curiously, and without much conscious thougt, you psychically order your hull's computer to receieve the hailing. The skeleton bridge crew that you have to take care of the non-essential systems of your rig, eye your pod concerningly. The message is an audio recording which transmits static and gets louder, and then softer until circus music pops through the speakers to your bridge. Some of the crew grasps their ears and groan in pain as music happily plays through the ship's internal audio systems.
A man with a heavy Khanid accent speaks with a posh and aristrocratic air. Slang is disperserd throughout his speach which gives the impression that the speaker has spent some time with the common folk.
"Come one, come all to fight for all of Amarr and their peoples! Bring your favoritie frigate or destroyer hull and your brightest, and most flamboyant SKIN as we fight to suppress the rebels and their silly uprising. Come join the Khanid Karniv\xe0le, the best militia irregular force there is - or uh, maybe, best next to ..." the circus music and the man's voice is suddenly cut off, but you swear you hear the man's voice say, "Vard Squadron" faintly through the void.
Darrius is the first born son from the prominent and rich family, House Knighte, which resides in the Khanid Kingdom. Gaius, Dariuss' father and current Holder and patriarch of House Knighte, made his family's forturne through industry. On Khanid Prime, Gaius was gifted and personally granted governorship over a small archipelago, named the Knighte Islands from King Khanid II. Thus his children were spared from having to be raised in the King's estate. As a child, Darrius became at odds with his father over the treatment of his family's slaves which created a rift between them. When Darrius was of age, to escape from his father, Darrius volunteered to serve in the elite Khanid Orbital Drop Recon Unit(KODRU) to fight for his people. After being wounded, and seeing the attrocities of war first hand, Darrius became a changed man whom joined the church,, the capsuleer program, and pledged his loyalty to the Empress. Darrius is still on the run from his kingdomite father who has sent Darrius' younger brother Mikale, and sister Kadin, to bring him home.
