Character Biography

Carrie is completely unremarkable.

No, seriously. She's unremarkable. She has no connections to anyone or anywhere of note. She has neither experiened or personally bore witness to any event of note. She is as background and ordinary as one can get.

Carrie grew up as a farmer's daughter, helping her family produce food for the Gallente Federation on one of its backwater planets, far removed not only from the more "civilized" parts of the Federation, but also from the more "civilized" parts of the planet itself.

Naturally, being farmers in the remote areas of the Federation made Carrie's family both quite independent and also quite resourceful. After all, you had to make do with what you had because help and materials from elsewhere were unlikely to come.

Coming from a farming background also taught Carrie an important lesson: It's the people at the bottom of the supply chain that makes the universe go 'round, as it were. Wars are fought and civilizations are built upon the efforts of those who produce the various raw materials needed for everything else to function.

Eventually, as they became young adults, Carrie's elder brother, her only sibling, began to take on larger roles on the farm in preparation for taking over for their parents someday. Carrie, however, was looking at the stars. With an inexplicable urge to fly among the stars burning deep within her every time she looked to the skies at night, Carrie journied to the planetary capital to take a capsuleer proficiency exam, coming to learn that she, indeed, was a good candidate for the Federal Naval Academy's capsuleer program.

After serving for a few years in the FNA, Carrie has now struck out on her own, doing the one thing that she best knows how to do: Produce the materials that others need to fuel their empires and ambitions. Carrie also HATES to see things go to waste, and so she has begun her own personal campaign to make sure that the materials left on destroyed ships are not lost to the ravages of space, never to be used again. Some may call it grave robbery, but to Carrie, it's just efficient utilization of resources. Thus, the rather macabrely-named Carrion Corporation came to be.
