Character Biography
Little is known exactly where Tinman, callsign “tinmansinoz”, is really from.
Tinman suffered a massive cerebral shock and had all his memories erased when the capsule he was in, tried to extract his memories. Tinman was found by a Sisters of EVE agent after a wormhole collapsed that alerted the agent’s attention to the location where he was found in a capsule, barely alive, next to a shuttle wreck.
Tinman was strangely not integrated with the capsule and therefore it was thought that he used the shuttle to escape through a wormhole. The Sisters of Eve agent reported that evidence of Artemis Tyrannos using his Doomsday weapon was found on the wreck.
A fortunate break to the mystery came after Tinman’s Iteron Mark V was ganked in Onnamon. Spyware in Tinman’s memory augmentation transmitted memory fragments to Duripant VII - Federal Navy Academy, where he started his career as a capsuleer, and was found by a Scope journalist named Ognye Sancenard.
From what Ognye could put together; Tinman is a survivor and a warrior of little to no equal.
The memory fragments that were decrypted revealed that Tinman had been stranded with other survivors on the hazardous planet CBGG-0 III for several months, before he and his fellow survivors escaped the planet. These fragments show that he was, forced to kill many of the aboriginal creatures, and that he had to at times, used his bare hands when he had nothing else to use.
The most vivid memory fragment depicted Tinman trapped by several assimilated Sansha Dread Lords, fighting to escape a sure death to torture, before he managed to kill a high ranking True Sansha Tyrant.
As these memories do not have a time signature, it was not possible to puzzle out the chronological order of these events, but one of these events may hold a clue on how Tinman escaped, and ended up in a shuttle under Artemis' guns.
After the Sisters of EVE agent found Tinman’s capsule in J164710, she transported him to Duripant VII - Moon 6 - Federal Navy Academy, where he finished his capsuleer training.
True to a past he can’t recall and Gallentian activist training, Tinman has shown absolute resolve in upholding his will to survive and most of all, his will to be free.
Inevitably his heroic actions brought him in contact with a Sturmgranadier scout and Tinman was made an offer he couldn’t refuse; a home among their space in the stars.
