Character Biography
Great-great-granddaughter of the Great Rebellion heroes Sebiestor Loki "Rev" Revheim & Caldari mercenary Sonia Hanabusa, Kelly grew up constantly striving to live up to their legacy. Born into the renowned Hanabusa family, whom have made their mark on history as trailblazers hailing from all Empires, including the likes of her great-grandmother Honoka Hanabusa & grandmother Yozora Hanabusa, Kelly has always been surrounded by living legends. Being related to such famous people caused a fire to be lit in her heart, as she someday hoped to be included among their number. Growing up as a Vherokior, Kelly wishes to make a difference to the lives of the Matar. Kelly has an older sister, though they don't share that much in common.
Bearing a somewhat close resemblance to Sonia, both in appearance & personality, Kelly embodies many of the best qualities her ancestor possessed. A Caldari mercenary hired to lead a successful slave revolt, Sonia began conducting daring raids on Amarr worlds to free her client's people, meeting Rev during one such raid, whom happened to also be targeting the same camp for liberation. Afterwards, they began working together, Rev's ingenuity complementing Sonia's boldness. Soon, they fell in love & married after the war, in spite of inter-Empire marriages being atypical at the time. Today, their descendants can be found all over New Eden.
Enrolling in the Republic Military School's Center for Combat Studies, where pilots are known for their creative approach to battle tactics, Kelly tirelessly worked to fulfill her dream of becoming a soldier & pilot to aid her people, the Minmatar, in their plight to free those still in captivity, and in safeguarding their borders from the Amarr. Whilst there, Kelly excelled in close combat, infiltration, intel acquisition, & piloting, showing great promise. This caused her to be recommended for a career as a commando.
Upon graduation, Kelly intergrated with capsule & cloning technology, thus marking the birth of a new capsuleer.
For defense, Kelly resorts to using an assault rifle, heavy pistol, & knife, should she ever find herself under attack while away from her ship.
