Gyyges

In time, I was ushered as if by a gentle force through a series of labyrinthine crevices and corrugated cracks, eventually arriving in a deep gorge that was perilously steep and somewhat disorienting. A strange brightness seemed to prevent me from losing my footing, almost as if I were endowed with a corrective gravitational or gyroscopic impulse that supported my body weight while also propelling me downward into the abyss of blackness that yawned below me. Suddenly, I found myself lifted from the ground, to the point where, to all intents and purposes, I appeared to be levitating. Clearly, a new life had taken hold of me, quite possibly using the psychic leverage of the Native Triangle, and I was being transported down to the inner world of their planet for reasons I could not imagine.
