Character Biography
Ciera Arokko, known professionally as Ciera Dahlia, is a Capsuleer who is currently a scout with Omnivores.
Born and raised on Saisio III within a conservative Achuran household, Ciera's childhood was heavily influenced by the strictures of her family's faith. Feeling stifled by the limitations imposed by Achuran society, she secretly enrolled in the State War Academy's Capsuleer Program. Graduating with honors, she subsequently enrolled at Eve University, eager to further her piloting skills. However, her studies were abruptly interrupted by the tragic passing of her mother. Upon returning home to pay respects, she was met with bitter condemnation from her father and the rest of her family. Her pursuit of becoming a Capsuleer, an act deemed anathema to their deeply held religious beliefs, resulted in her being disowned.
Seeking a fresh start and a life beyond the confines of her family's disapproval, Ciera enlisted with the Imperium, hoping to find purpose amidst the chaos of Null Sec. However, she quickly grew disillusioned with the constant political maneuvering and the cutthroat nature of Null Sec warfare.
Seeking an alternative, Ciera began exploring wormhole space, where she encountered Omnivores, a corporation with a more collectivist philosophy that sharply contrasted with the prevailing hyper-capitalist ethos of New Eden.
Faced with the constant threat of death inherent to the Capsuleer lifestyle, coupled with the ongoing internal conflict stemming from her upbringing, Ciera embarked on a radical path of self-modification. She underwent extensive cybernetic augmentation, replacing much of her organic body with advanced implants and metallic components. This period also saw the emergence of her professional moniker, "Dahlia," a name meant to symbolize her resilience and the "blooding" she endured in both her personal and professional life, as well as her love for the color Red.
When questioned about the name, Ciera stated, "It feels like I've finally blossomed into what I was meant to become, just like a dahlia. Sure, the path may have been unconventional, but I believe it ultimately led me to where I was destined to be."
