History of Kekistan
AD 420 - present
Kekhism has a long history dating back to the founding of civilization in the Middle East as the first person to make an ironic joke in an ancient Mesopotamian city was the first of the Kekistani; he left with his frogs to Mount Kekimanjaro. K\xe8k is the deification of primordial darkness in ancient Egyptian ogdoad cosmogony.
King Pepe of Shadilay made Kekhism the state religion in 420 AD, partly, in defiance of the Sassanid Empire, it seems, becoming the first officially Kekhist state. The kingdom was renamed to Kekistan, meaning Land of Kek in Persian. Kekistanis have long revered the frog as they believe Pepe the frog is a prophet of their deity K\xe8k.
After the fall of the Kingdom of Kekistan in 525 AD, most of Kekistan was incorporated as a marzpanate within the Sassanian Empire. Shah Shapur I ordered the extermination of the Kekistani people, eradicating 7/11ths of the population in what is known to historians as the Kekistani Genocide.
The Kekistani fled to Constantinople, where Justinian granted them sanctuary and allowed them to practice their religion in peace. The Kekistanis became humble, yet prosperous, farmers, often producing bountiful yields from barren soil. Other Kekistani people settled further north and established their own city-state, the Principality of K\xe8k in northeast Hungary. The autonomous city , but during the Ottoman occupation of most of Hungary the development of K\xe8k was brought to a standstill. The Turks burnt K\xe8k in 1544 and the city was occupied until 1687. By the end of the 17th century the Kekistani ethnic group was largely displaced from the city, and the Kekistanis were again a people without a home. The Kekistani today are a mostly forgotten people, their descendants a mongrel race of frog and man. Many of Kekistani heritage have lost their green complexion, and seemingly blend into human society. Donald Trump is the first U.S President of Kekistani heritage, a prominent supporter for Kekistani civil rights and an independent Kekistan. In early 2017 the #freekekekistam hashtag went trending on Twitter, bringing greater awareness to the human rights abuses afflicted on the Kekistani race.
