Character Biography

The Battle of Niarja

The Khanid Navy ship captain gazed in terror from the command room as the Vedmak teared through the armor of his cruiser. The singularity core, emanating a frightening red glow as dark as the void, would made the crew feel they were being swallowed by a black hole, as their deaths approached.
- Captain - yelled Tseveen - the nano-assemblers are not holding! This...thing is tearing through our armor! We need to evac NOW!

Not a second later, the ship's alarm went off: "WARNING. Hull Integrity critical" The captain looked at her, then around to meet the faces from his crew, eager for a guidance on what to do, and froze still. He had already accepted his demise.
- Sir? Sir?! Shit! All right, everyone get your butts to the escape pods!

The room shaked with the explosive reaction of the entropic disintegrators. The door, leading out of the command room, was automatically sealed shut. The hull had been critically damaged and beyond that door was only the vacuum of space.
It's over.

The shaking then stopped. She looked one last time through the glass of the command room, and found the Vedmak with it's front end severed from the rest of the ship. It then spasmed abruptly several more times as if being punched by something, and then exploded. About 100 KM away above from their position, she saw the mighty Maelstrom, with smoke still coming out of its incandescent artillery cannons, making short work of another Triglavian aggressor. Shortly after, they radioed in:
- We got you. Round up any survivors and board the frigate we're sending.

Onboard the Maelstrom, on the way to the safety of Bahromab, Tseveen would meet with with her first "immortal" pilot. After the hydrostatic fluid had been drained, the capsule opened to reveal a slender woman, with a kind attitude and eyes as fierce as a thousand lasers.
I'm <Redacted>, but others just call me MV. Welcome to my ship.
