Character Biography

Ono VII – Sukuuvestaa Corp Foundry - It's a massive change from the frozen, domed town on Ono VII. Back home, the cold was constant, I never went outside without my Thermal Clad II under my corporate gear. It took time to get used to being without it. Home has a population of only a few hundred, and it rarely changes. Here? New faces all the time.

I like it here, but I dream of flying amongst the stars. Ha… that’ll never happen. I’ve been here 8 months. Still low enough in seniority that I get overnight shifts in Docking. Different alarms go off depending on the class of ship arriving. When a large vessel approaches—like a freighter—you don’t just hear the alarm, you feel it. At this hour, it's the last thing I expected. Normally, only State or CONCORD ships are active this late. But tonight, it's a Fenrir.

Bay XII is the only one large enough to receive a freighter, and it has a hell of a view. Watching the massive ship drop out of warp it was clear, somethings wrong. It's listing hard, drifting off vector—straight toward the station. Station Control tried to hail the vessel several times. No response. Eventually, a emergency was declared and the tractor beams engaged.

Once secured in Bay XII, boarding crews made entry. Power's out across all decks. Life support offline. We are lucky the freighter hadn’t collided with us—especially since it's carrying high-energy munitions. According to the crew, the ship began experiencing system failures after it was scanned by Autothysian Lancers upon entering the system.

Luckily, the Capsuleer on board managed to initiate warp before systems went completely dead. But now he is trapped inside the pod. As the Engineer on duty, it fell to me to get him out.

I spent 3 hours trying every Command Process from I to X. Nothing worked. Eventually, it became clear that a Level I Emergency Override was required—something only the Station Commander could authorize with special command codes and a physical chip. This guys bill is going to be expensive.

Once the SC arrived, the code and chip were input. The pod hissed and groaned as it opened—releasing a surge of ectoplasm bio-fluid. The still connected naked Capsuleer started pulling cables off himself. He looked me dead in the eye and yelled, “What the fuck took so long?” I was too stunned to answer. The medics arrived and swept him away. I didn’t know it at the time, but He's the ONE.

The future is not known...
