If I don't respond to a convo request, I may be busy or AFK. Please try mail if I don't respond.
---
Tell me: when you look at someone, do you see all of the bone-deep scars and festering wounds that refuse to heal because they never see the light of day? Do you even try to? Or do you see only what they want you to see - the things that they wear as a mask to hide away and conceal what truly causes them pain?
And even if you do see through that mask, do you do something about it? Say something? Or do you sit there acting as if you don't notice, and pretend there's nothing wrong?
Too many people take the easy way out, even when that someone is supposed to be their friend.
Which hurts more, I wonder? Seeing fair-weather friends take the easy route, or their realization of what taking the easy route did to you?
