Character Biography
"We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be."
-- Kurt Vonnegut, Mother Night
It's a game. Have fun and PVP using any method that EVE makes possible, but always treat your adversary with respect. Give at least as much respect as you'd like in return. This means:
1. Keep all communications (esp. Local) civil, and always "gf" whether you win or lose (bonus: sense of humour when suicide ganked).
2. Don't qualify respect with a hypothetical scenario or an excuse *unless* asked an honest question about why you won/lost.
3. Don't argue about methods or playstyles. EVE is big and complex, so learn when and how things work (or not) and then move on. "Why" doesn't matter.
4. If someone doesn't like the way you behave and calls you names, let them have their opinion. Opinions only matter when they change behaviour -- responding to one lets others know you can be manipulated. Always take the high road or you will very likely suffer more.
