Martin Vanzyl

The son of a terrestrial mining family on the edges of Gallente space, Martin excelled from an early age in math. By the age of fifteen he was already working on University level and aiming for a Doctorate from the University of Caille. However, he was poached with a lucrative offer from the Centre for Advanced Studies and the option to become a Capsuleer.

He applied and was accepted into EVE University, intending to have an uneventful career as a mining and industrial capsuleer, bringing the wealth of the stars back to his family. He was barely starting high tech production work when he received word that his home system and constellation had fallen victim to an Incursion by Sansha's Nation. Only a few members of his family survived and he returned briefly home to bury many empty caskets. He enlisted in the Ivy League Navy, and was eventually accepted in the University's Incursion Battlegroup.

After a succesful campaign defending many constellations against Sansha's forces as Fleet Commander, he forked his consciousness to a new body to continue the defense of known space, whilst he entered Anoikis in search of Kuvakei himself.
