Putar Putaris

Putar Putaris was abandoned by his father at a young age, and barely raised by an abusive, junky mother. As a boy his dreams were of escape from terrestrial life; for him a painful struggle to survive. At night, he would sneak out onto the roof of his sheet metal shanty, and stare up at the stars, covering his ears to drown out the sounds of the rabid dogs that roamed the mud at night. He would imagine himself away from the disgarded battle drones that roamed the slums hunting for anything that moved. He dreamt of being a fleet commander, so powerful that no one could ever hurt him again. His dream became a determination that drove him to rise above impossible odds. He stole uranium from the local P.I. launch site, and lived on rabid dog until he had enough to scam his way into pilot school. Then immortality ovewhelmed him; he got lost in the endless space hookers and astro blow. He never made fleet commander, but he makes enough hauling to fuel his trainwreck lifestyle.
