It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the death of Ben Crackel, who many of you may know in-game as ioctl. Ben passed away silently in his sleep for reasons that are not fully known at this time. He was 23.
A peerless pvper of quite frankly humbling skill and guts, as ioctl Ben was responsible for by far the greatest share of action meted by the Cult throughout its three years of existence. Our reputation would have been nothing without him. He was Omniscient Order's founder and CEO. More so than that though, he was our friend, and somebody who we count as one of the most likeable, funny and friendly people we have ever met - online or off. His passing diminishes us all in ways we may never come to fully understand.
He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
